2015 August 9 Announcements
Choir practice will be Tuesday, August 11, at 7:00 pm at the Fellowship Hall.
The young group Bible study will be this Friday at Bro. Tyler and Sis. Kaitlyn Rocke’s house at 7:30pm.
We are looking forward to baptisms August 16th for Gage and Serena Bauman. Testimonies will be Saturday the 15th at 7pm. There is a sign-up sheet at message center. It is group 1's turn to help.
Bill & Mary Masters from our Ft. Myers church will be giving a presentation on New Beginnings, a home for single mothers with children, on Saturday, August 22nd @ 6:30 at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to attend.
There will be a young group Parent Appreciation Dinner which will be August 30th at the Goodfield fellowship hall.
The All Church Invite a Friend Potluck will be Sunday, October 4th, 2015. Sign-up sheets are in the back hall. Hosts are Bro. Ted and Sis. Kenda Taufer, Bro. Andy and Sis. Rita Bauman, and Bro. Art and Sis. Pam Wiegand.
There is a list at the Information Center (back hall) of the potential 3 year old students. If you have a three year, please indicate on the list if you will or will not be sending your child to Sunday School this year. In order to attend the child must be three years old by September 1 and must be potty trained. If you have any questions, please see Sis. Andrea Wiegand or Sis. Elli Berardi.
The current dinner list is coming to an end at the end of October. If you would either like to take your name off the list or add your name to the list please contact Sis. Deb Fehr.
There is a thank you and some pictures from Bro. Sam Holliger at the information center. Bro. Sam grew up in Goodfield and attends our West Lafayette, IN church. Please be prayerful for Bro. Sam and the hospice team that is assisting the family.
Our first opportunity for volunteer help on the Fellowship Hall will be Saturday morning, August 15th at 7:00 AM. We are looking for 10-15 volunteers for demolition work on the west side of the existing building. Work will include removal of landscaping and brick. Please sign up in back hall if you are available. Bring hammers, chisels, gloves, and safety glasses if you have them.
We felt your prayers this week as we met in Morris, MN. It was a very productive conference. We will plan to give an update in the near future.
We will be counting the minister ballots this Saturday. Please be prayerful and diligent in getting them returned this week. At this point only about 25% have been returned.
