The following message is from the Rassi’s in Austin, Texas:
We've gotten to know people/kids in the area through VBS, food distributions, etc and it's been an amazing opportunity to help out and show the love of Christ. But..... our church is small! And we need some help! So if you would consider coming down for all or part of the week that would be great.
We would like to invite you to share Thanksgiving week with us. (Nov.21-29, 2015) On Saturday the 21st we have our monthly food/clothing Distribution at 9:00 am at Stoneypoint (Hispanic neighborhood) and at 11:00 am at church.
During the week - we will work on Roy & Janet's house, Steven & Donetello's mobile home, and flood damaged homes. On Thanksgiving Day after church we plan to serve a meal for the community.
Plenty of time for enjoying the Hispanic children and each other. Be prepared to pitch in with meal preparation, clean up etc.
We have some dormitory space available--also local hotels. Hampton's, Holiday Inn, Best Western, etc.
We pray that his name will be glorified.
