2015 December 27 Announcements
Beginning Monday, January 4th we are looking for 15 or more volunteers each day to help with interior demolition work at the Fellowship Hall. The work will include removal of existing furnishings, floor and wall coverings, light and plumbing fixtures, and walls. If you are able to help any day that week please sign up at the message center in the back hall. Contact Bro. Mark Rocke with any questions.
Sign-up sheets are at the information center for the 2016 Winter Church Bible Study. We will be studying the Sermon on the Mount. If you have any questions please see Bro. Kris and Sis. Heather Swords or Bro. Nate and Sis. Brittany Zeltwanger.
We are invited to a special singing at the Morton Church Sunday January 10th at 6:30pm. We are invited along with Peoria, Roanoke and Bradford. Morton is having a series of these singings in hopes of filling their sanctuary with praises to God as the old church will be coming down later next year. Let’s make an effort to attend!
We will have New Year’s Eve services this Thursday at 7pm. This will cancel our Wednesday evening services.
There will be a private family funeral on Monday for Brett Roth with no visitation. The funeral will be streamed online and available via the call in system for anyone that wants to listen. There will be a meal for the family and it is group 1’s turn to help. Please be prayerful for Bro. Alan and Sis. Joanne and their family during this time of loss.
Chuck Schrock’s mother Polly passed away. Her funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Congerville AC Church. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Please be prayerful for Chuck and Diane and their family.
