2015 December 6 Announcements
The December collection is for the church general operations. This is a Church collection to provide available funds for the operation, maintenance and upkeep of our church facilities. These facilities include the church, fellowship hall, contents, grounds, parking lots and cemeteries.
Sign-up sheets are at the information center for the 2016 Winter Church Bible Study. Please mark if you would to lead/host a group at your house. Checking leader is really more like coordinator/host. We will form groups after Christmas so they can start after the first of the year. Our study for this year is the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew. While the Sermon on the Mount with the Beatitudes is among the best known of Jesus’s teachings, do we really understand it and do we Christians obey what He said he wanted his followers to do and be? Here is a wonderful opportunity to become reacquainted with Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount and also become closer spiritually with others in our church. If you have any questions please see Bro. Kris and Sis. Heather Swords or Bro. Nate and Sis. Brittany Zeltwanger .
Help is needed at the Eureka Food Pantry to unload trucks this Tuesday at 12:30pm. Please see Sis. Dawn Maloney if you have any questions.
We will be having Services at the Eureka AC Home at 8:45 each Sunday morning in December.
Our Sunday School Christmas program will be next Sunday the 13th in place of the afternoon service.
The fellowship hall addition will be open for walk through tours after the Christmas Program on Sunday, December 13th.
Bible Class and Young Group Christmas Caroling is next Sunday the 13th. Meet in the church parking lot at 2:20. After caroling, pizza will be served at Bo. Luke and Sis. Jill Rocke's home.
We will be having Mark and Connie Rocke’s reinstatement service Wednesday evening. All members and converts are encouraged and invited to attend. Bro. Kent Heimer (from Taylor, MO) and Bro. Tom Hoffman (from Roanoke) plan to be with us.
Bro. Gary Musselman will be having a reverse total shoulder replacement on Monday, December 9th. It will be the 8th surgery to his left shoulder and he and Sis. Judy would really appreciate your prayers.
Bro. Dave Kuntz’s mother, Maureen had a bad turn this past week and is now at Maple Lawn on hospice. Please be prayerful for her and for the Kuntz family.
