2015 October 11 Announcements

Our October collection will be for the Apostolic Christian World Relief.

There is a sign-up sheet at the information center for 2016 rotating potluck. Please consider signing up for this. It is a great way to get to know more of our church family.

World Relief Sewing will be held Tuesday from 9 until noon. Babysitting will be provided at the fellowship hall, and all are welcomed to attend.

Bible Class Students are to be at Bro. Larry and Sis. Lori Wiegand’s cabin at 2:45pm this Saturday for the Bluffton invite for Bible Class. We really need and want all students to be there.  Thanks!

It's time for our monthly family hymn sings to start up again! Our first one will be next Sunday, October 18th at 6:30 PM. There are sign up sheets in the back for the snack. We look forward to seeing you all there again! Any questions please see Bro. Fred & Sis. Megan Rokey.

We plan on having baptisms for Tori Taufer, Ambria Herrmann and Claire Hohulin on November 14th and 15th. Bro. Tom Hoffman plans to be with us to assist.

We also plan to have baptisms for Emily Thompson on November 28th and 29th.

Once again we plan to pack shoeboxes with the ACTIVE students for Operation Christmas Child. We are asking for your help in the collection of shoebox items. Remember the items must be able to fit in a standard size box. Each ACTIVE student will pack one box. We are asking for your child to bring 10 items (ie: 10 washcloths or 10 bars of soap) to an upcoming ACTIVE.  Collection nights:  Wednesday, October 21st and final collection night on Wednesday November 4th.  Please click here for more details.  The list will be available at the message center as well.

Note from Bro. Herman and Sis. Sara Glueck:
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s prayers as we plan on getting another chemo treatment on Monday (10/12). Thank you to all for the love, support, prayers, and cards!! We love all of you and have really experienced the Lord’s blessings as we take this journey!

Bro. Randy Schmidgall’s mother passed away this past Wednesday. Visitation will be at Knapp-Johnson funeral home in Morton on Tuesday from 4-7pm. There will also be visitation from 9-9:45 Wednesday morning prior to the funeral services which will be at 10am at the Morton Apostolic Christian Church. Please be prayerful for Bro. Randy and Sis. Cindy and the Schmidgall family.

Please be prayerful for Bro. Gary Allen as he is in Eureka Hospital with some health issues.

Bro. Mike Wirtz returned home this week.  He is in some pain but is getting along pretty well and is able to get out and walk each day as part of his therapy.  Please continue to pray for him & Sis. Lila.

We will be playing the conference recordings this Wednesday evening. There will be two topics each about 20 minutes long. The overall theme is Walking with Christ and the two that we will hear this Wednesday are Walking in the Strength of his sacrifice (Bro. Rick Plattner) and Walking in a living Faith (Bro. John Laukhuf).

We rejoice with Bro. Brent  & Sis. Abby Schmidgall as they were blessed with a baby girl named Franci Jade on October 3rd.
