Melvin Martin father of our Sis. Melita Hodel passed away Friday afternoon. Visitation will be at the Eureka Home Tuesday from 10-11am and 5-7pm at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral home in Eureka. His funeral will be Wednesday, September 8th at the funeral home at 1pm with visitation 30 minutes prior.
Bro. Mel Blunier appeared to have had a restful night. The family asks for continued prayers for the healing of his fractures, pain control, and his
oxygen levels to improve so the vent can be removed. At this point, he is heavily sedated. The family is so thankful for our loving church family. Thank you so much for your concern & prayers!
We rejoice with Jessica Wiegand and Wyatt Moser as they have turned their lives over to the Lord in repentance. May they feel God’s nearness and grace! Surely there is joy in heaven today. Jessica is Bro. Mike and Sis. Jenise Wiegand’s daughter and Wyatt is Bro. Sam and Sis. Ruth Moser’s son.
Note About the Silver Lining:
Keeping Christ at the Center
The new section of the Silver Lining, to which readers can submit content, has a third topic to finish off the year.
Topic: Our next topic is focused on the upcoming holiday season, particularly Christmas. Given the flurry of activities in December, the time pressures and pressing commercialism, what does your family to do keep Christ at the center of the Christmas holiday?
This could be a great opportunity to learn from one another by sharing things that have been a blessing in your home.
Deadline: October 10, 2015
Contact: Sis. Melissa Rokey or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for helping make the Silver Lining an encouragement to us all.
