In support of our 3 missionary families, we have a scheduled rotation for Goodfield members to take turns reaching out to our missionaries through email.  This helps keep us connected with the missionaries, and provides them with regular interaction with their sending church family.  If you are not part of this rotation, and would like to be, please contact Bro. Mike Grimm at mikeg@lighthousegm.com.

There are HarvestCall Haiti brochures at the information center.

Please pray for Dawson Rocke (son of Bro. Adam & Sis. Maribeth). They are going to Mayo Clinic this week.

We are very thankful to announce that Carly Hartman is at peace with God and man and is ready for baptism. Please pray for her and encourage her during this most important time in her life.  If you have any words of encouragement or concerns, please contact her. We are so thankful that God is still patient and calling souls to repentance and conversion.

Athens Preschool Announcement –
Over the last 35 years, the Athens preschool has provided many blessings and opportunities to share the gospel of Salvation to the children and parents in the Athens, AL area, planting seeds of truth in young and tender hearts. As our sisters and brothers have interacted with these children and their parents, as well as with other members and friends in our Apostolic Christian Church, countless friendships have been developed and precious memories have been made that remind us of God’s wonderful love and grace.
Over the last 2 years, the Athens preschool Board along with the Athens Church has been diligent in searching out God’s will to determine the next step’s for the Athens preschool. We are reminded in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. To that end, after much prayer and searching the Scriptures, it was determined that the Athens preschool will close on June 10th, 2016. This date is four weeks after the 2015/2016 school year graduation.
Paul reminded Timothy that when we consider His will, He grants us understanding (2 Tim 2:7). We trust that as the Athens Church continues to live God’s will in their collective lives, God will continue to be glorified. Let’s continue to be prayerful for the Athens Church and visit them as the way opens - all are welcome!
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact Bro. Tom Waldbeser, Elder of the Athens Church
