2016 January 3 Announcements
The collection for the month of January is for our HarvestCall Disaster Relief fund. This Church collection is to provide readily available funds in anticipation of a disaster occurring later in the calendar year. Examples include tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, or other national or local disasters similar to what happened to Washington or where our HarvestCall work teams have been.
Beginning Monday, January 4th we are looking for 15 or more volunteers each day to help with interior demolition work at the Fellowship Hall. The work will include removal of existing furnishings, floor and wall coverings, light and plumbing fixtures, and walls. If you are able to help any day that week please sign up at the message center in the back hall. Contact Bro. Mark Rocke with any questions.
Thanks to those of you who have already signed up to prepare and serve meals for our Fellowship Hall volunteers these next few weeks. There are still a few spots open - please see the sign-up sheet in the back hall for further information
This is just a reminder to the leaders of the Bible Study that you can pick up your Sermon on the Mount Bible Study Books in the lunch room after church today.
We are having a special song service at Timber Ridge this Friday, January 8th at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attend.
There will also be a singing at the Eureka Home Saturday evening at 6:45.
We are invited to a special singing at the Morton Church Sunday, January 10th at 6:30pm. We are invited along with Peoria, Roanoke and Bradford. Morton is having a series of these singings in hopes of filling their sanctuary with praises as the old Church will be coming down later next year. Let’s make an effort to attend!
Family hymn sing for January has been moved due to the singing group coming from Indiana! It will be SATURDAY, January 23. We plan to have a chili supper at 5 PM followed by the usual singing at 6:30. More details and a sign-up sheet for food will be announced in the near future.
