2016 July 10 Announcements

Our collection boxes are open this month for the Apostolic Christian Handicapped Home Timber Ridge.  Please prayerfully consider the special loved ones who are served by this facility and share accordingly.  May God bless you richly for giving to the Lord's work.

We plan to have services at the Eureka Home this Tuesday at 1pm. Bro. Nathan will be there. Anyone is welcome to come and support.

The singing at the El Paso Healthcare has been canceled this Saturday.

The next Haiti Awareness tour is scheduled for September 24-28, 2016. This quick trip includes visiting the Plattners and other missionaries at Hospital Lumiere, the dairy program, Child Sponsorship and other AC HarvestCall projects in Haiti. If you are interested, contact Bro. Kurt Plattner.

Next  Saturday, July 16, at 8:00 AM, we need volunteers at the fellowship hall to install shingles on the roof of the carport. The work is expected to be completed before lunch. This is the last opportunity to volunteer construction labor for the Fellowship Hall project. Also on Saturday, July 16, at 8:00 AM, the old folding chairs at the Fellowship Hall will be available for our congregation to take for personal use. Up to a dozen chairs per household may be taken for whatever donation you wish to make. The chair storage racks are also available for your use. Chairs will be distributed at the doors on the west side of the Fellowship Hall. Thank you for your support to bring this big project to a successful completion.

Sis. Barbara Moser passed away this week. She is the sister of Bro. Cecil and Alice Nohl. Her visitation was Sunday at the Knapp Johnson Harris funeral home in Roanoke from 6-8pm. The funeral was at the Roanoke Church today at 10am. Please be prayerful for the Moser and Nohl family.

Note from Bro. Gale and Sis. Jane:

We lost our dear son in law Harold last night. God took him home. Our hearts are aching but we rejoice in his victory. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and love through this time. Please continue to pray for Laura and her children. We will notify all of you when arrangements are known.

We have asked ACCFS to present a series of informative and helpful topical presentations in the next few months. Bro. Matt Kaufmann plans to be here this Wednesday evening to talk about forgiveness. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend.
