2016 March 27 Announcements

A special thanks to all who helped at the Fellowship hall this past week.

There are new minister directories at the information center. There are plenty for everyone to take as many as you need. (large or small copies)

We will be having services at the Eureka AC Home at 8:45 each Sunday morning in April. Any support would be appreciated. These service are usually over by no later than 9:30am.

Our Sunday Morning Adult bible study will be held April 10th, 17th and 24th in the World relief room downstairs starting at 10am.  Please feel free to invite a friend or neighbor. (we will not have the class next week April 3rd)

It is time for Church Spring Cleaning!  Everyone is needed to care for our physical church building, please consider coming and helping volunteer.   In order to accommodate many different schedules, we will start April 1st, Friday evening at 5 PM and continue on Saturday April 2nd morning starting at 7 am until we are finished cleaning.   This includes the church grounds as well as the main floor and basement areas.  Thank you for assisting.

We plan to have a special night for the men ages 7th grade to 100 on Tuesday, April 19th at 7pm in the church west Sunday School assembly room. Bros. Matt Kaufman and Arlen Miller from ACCFS will be teaching us about striving for sexual purity. Please plan to be here that evening.

The Midwest Gospel Sing is April 30, 2016 and will be held from 5:45pm to 8:30pm at Washington IL, Five Points auditorium. 360 N. Wilmor Rd.  This is the sole fundraiser for the AC Home for the Handicapped.  If you can't attend you can watch it live stream through our website at www.midwestgospelsing.org. Please consider participating.  Only a free will offering will be collected at the door or online.  Your church rep will be given reminder cards to distribute and will be available at your church's message center. Any further questions, please ask your church rep.  Please remember the Home in your prayers.  The evening will feature Illinois Bible Class Choir, Schrenk Sisters, and Heritage Gospel Quartet with time for an ACHH Family Testimony and Community Singing.

We would also like to wish Bro. Harold and Sis. Carol Hohulin a Happy 60th wedding anniversary!

We are thankful to announce the engagement of Bro. Cody Schumacher to Sis. Abbie Wiegand.  Bro. Cody is the son of Bro. Dan and Sis. Heidi Schumacher. Sis. Abbie is the daughter of Bro. Roy and Sis. Jan Wiegand. We pray the Lord will bless their union together.
