The Hospital Lumiere board would like to thank everyone who helped make the 2016 benefit auction a success. With your prayers and support and God’s blessings, Hospital Lumiere in Haiti will continue to provide medical care with compassion and Christian love. A special thanks to the young group and everyone else who helped to make it a success.
Our collection for the month of November is for our Apostolic Christian home in Eureka.
ACTIVE will meet this Wednesday evening.
Sunday was the last day for the Operation Christmas Child items. We will be packing the boxes on Wednesday November 16th. If you were unable to purchase items and would like to make a monetary donation, please see Bro. Jon Knapp or Sisters Deonne Monfre, or Cassandra Wiegand.
The young group Bible Study will be at Bro. Max and Sis. Allison Hinrichsen’s home this Friday at 7:30pm.
There will be singing at El Paso Healthcare this Saturday starting at 7pm.
A reminder that our next family hymn sing will be Nov 20th at 6:30 pm. There is a signup sheet for snacks at the message center. Sis. Dawn Maloney will have a short presentation for us on some community outreach programs and how we can help. Please contact Bro. Fred or Sis. Megan with any questions.
All church Christmas caroling will be Friday, December 2nd @ 6pm. Please meet in the church dining room. Sign-up sheets are at the message center. Please see Sisters Cassie Knepp or Ashley Schieler with questions.
Heartline and Heart House will be hosting a meal for people in the area that will be alone on Thanksgiving. They are looking for food donations...Not necessarily money, but people that are willing to cook for them! If anyone is interested in cooking something and bringing the dish all prepared, please contact Brandi Gerber at 309-467-6101, ext. 4. See Sis. For our conference recordings, we are listening to Bro. Ben Wiegand this week. He is speaking on the part of our 4 pillar mission about Contending for the Faith. Please take the time to listen to this important message. CD’s are at the message center.
We rejoice with Kendahl Evans as she has turned her life over to the Lord in repentance. Kendal is the daughter of Jake and Shari Evans. May she feel His nearness and grace. We are so thankful that God is still patient and calling souls to repentance and conversion.
