Since Hurricane Matthew battered the southern portion of Haiti, HarvestCall has been working there and here in the US to first provide immediate help, and then develop a longer term rebuilding and recovery plan, working through other organizations and also the ministry programs operated by our missionaries in Bonne Fin and Les Cayes. After assessing the extent of damage and magnitude of need, we are requesting a national collection for the Disaster Fund. Please prayerfully consider a financial donation, as the Lord leads. Please click here to read more about HarvestCall’s response to Hurricane Matthew.

The Apostolic Christian HarvestCall benefit auction for Hospital Lumiere is planned for Friday, November 11 at Five Points in Washington. The food court and silent auction start at 4:30. The live auction begins at 7:00. For more information, or to donate an item or service, see the announcement on the church bulletin board or visit the HarvestCall website. As we have in the past few years, we rely on the Young Group to help with the Auction. We would also like to invite Bible class students and any other young adults (marrieds too!) to help. Please contact Sis. Jill Wagner to volunteer. We need people to clear tables, Silent Auction help, and help for people leaving - carry items, possibly transport items with your pickup trucks.
The Invite a Friend Day is scheduled for Sunday, November 13, with the meal at the fellowship hall at 4:30. There is a sign-up sheet at the message center for anyone who plans to participate.
Meals are needed for Sis Marie Kieser. If you can help please contact Sis. Fern Knapp.
