2016 October 9 Announcements

Our October collection will be for the Apostolic Christian HarvestCall.  Apostolic Christian HarvestCall exists to enable the brotherhood to come together and proclaim Christ & serve others, in the US, Mexico, Haiti, Jamaica, India, Japan, Eastern Europe and other places as the Lord leads. Many hurting people throughout the world need our help to be lifted out of spiritual and material poverty. Thanks for your love, prayers and generosity.

HarvestCall sewing will be meeting on Tuesday from 9-noon. Babysitting will be provided. Please come and join us!

Loving Shepherd Ministries will be hosting a meal and charity auction for the orphans of Haiti and Ethiopia on Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Five Points Washington.  The meal and Silent Auction start at 5:30PM with the Live Auction starting at 6:30PM.

October Family Hymn Sing will be Sunday October 16th, 6:00 pm at Bro. Larry and Sis. Lori Wiegand's lake house cabin. Please join us for an evening of singing and fellowship as we enjoy both Goodfield singing groups Redeemed and Glorify Hymn.  Sign-up sheets for cookies and bars are located at the message center. There will be a Men's Sing on Monday, October 17th at 7pm at Bro. Mike & Sis. Jenise Wiegand's home.

The annual Eureka Home Benefit Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Tickets are available at the Home office.  The Home's mission is "Providing loving care in the Spirit of Christ". We encourage all ages to come and support the evening.  

The Apostolic Christian HarvestCall benefit auction for Hospital Lumiere is planned for Friday, November 11 at Five Points in Washington. The food court and silent auction start at 4:30. Saturday, November 12th will be a HarvestCall informational meeting in Bluffton, IN.  More information is available at the message center.

The Invite a Friend Day is scheduled for Sunday, November 13, with the meal at the fellowship hall at 4:30. There is a sign-up sheet at the message center for anyone who plans to participate. Please see Bro. Fritz and Sis. Amy Hinrichsen, Bro. Alex and Sis .Cassie Knepp, or Bro. Randy and Sis. Elli Berardi for any questions.

Many of you are aware that we plan to send a team to Hospital Lumiere this winter.  We still have 5-6 openings to travel with the group and ask each of you to prayerfully consider supporting Bro. Kurt and Sis. Joan in this way.  If you have any interest or questions, please contact Bro. Nathan or Sis. Laura Wiegand as soon as possible.

Please continue to keep Bro. Alfred and Sis Marie Keiser in your prayers as Alfred continues to struggle thru a number of procedures and infection.

Please be prayerful for the team that is going to Haiti to help with the recovery efforts. Our Bro. Darrell Stoller is part of this team and will be in Haiti for 10 days.
