2017 August 6 Announcements

This week we will continue the collection for the children's homes in Jamaica (New Hope & En Gedi House) where Sis. Erin Davis is involved. There will be boxes placed at each of the doors for baby lotion, shampoo, baby wipes, formula & diapers. We will also be taking monetary donations enabling HarvestCall to help with the operations of these homes. Please put checks in the boxes marked Jamaica Children's Homes. God bless you for your continued support of our mission in Jamaica.

We will also be collecting for the Gateway Woods Children's home for the month of August.

Thanks to everyone who helped with VBS this week. Also, a big thanks to those who attended. It was a blessing to see the church family working together and sharing the Gospel message with our youth. May God richly bless you all.

We will be showing pictures from the Bible class Jamaica trip this Wednesday, August 9th at the fellowship hall. The entire church is invited. Some of the students will be speaking about the impact the trip had on them. Sis. Erin Davis will also be giving an update on the mission in Jamaica.

There will be singing at the Eureka Home this Saturday starting at 6:45.

All church bridal shower for Brent Wiegand and Marissa Hutchinson and Jared West and Sarah Hartman Saturday, August 12th, Open House from 9:00-10:30 AM at the FH Gathering Room. Please bring 5-10 dollars and a grocery item.

Please be prayerful for the Elder conference this week in Roanoke. The general conference presentations will be held at Roanoke starting at 9am on Friday. Sis. Becky Roberts has made prayer cards for each elder that will be on the dining room table for each of us. The Roanoke church has invited all of us for Church services Tuesday evening in Roanoke at 7:30pm this week.

A Caring Bridge website has been set up for Bro. Mark Zimmerman. Visit www.caringbridge.org. The name to put in on the website is "markzimmerman", all lowercase and no spaces. He had a better night last night and was talking more this morning. The family appreciates the prayers of our church family!
