2017 January 22 Announcements

The Young Group Girls Bible Study will be this Tuesday evening at the Fellowship Hall Family Center, starting at 7:00 pm.  Chapter 4 in the Integrity Study Book will be covered.  Please bring your book and Bible.

The Young group guys Bible study will be at the same time and Bro. Dan and Sis. Heidi Schumacher’s home.

The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka is looking for one or more volunteers to rotate every other Friday answering the front desk phone from 1-4:30 PM. For more information please contact Wendy Falk, volunteer coordinator at 309- 467-2311 ex. 149 or see Sis. Bonnie Gerst. This will also be posted on bulletin board.

Young Group Babysitting will be February 11th from 6-9 at the Fellowship Hall for children potty trained to 8th grade.  Parents, please sign up at the message center.  Please see Sis. Mallory Bauman with any questions.

Save the Date: Saturday, March 4 will be the Eureka Home Benefit Auction. It will be Breakfast and a morning auction. More details will come later…

Mark your calendars for the Jamaica Fund Raiser silent auction and dinner March 11th at 4:30 at the Fellowship Hall. There is a sign-up sheet at the message center in back. Please sign up by Feb 26th. if there are questions please contact Scott Wiegand, or Sisters Karen Wiegand, Heather Swords or Heather Hohulin.

We plan to have baptisms for Roman Bauman and Trevor Rocke on the weekend of March 18th and 19th.

We will be sending out ballots for SS and Trustees sometime this week. Please prayerfully consider this. Bro. Jeff would like to have them back by the end of January.

The rotating potluck lists are ready and are at the information center.

Our monthly topical Bible study will be this Wednesday night at 7:30 at the church. The lesson will be "What the book of Philippians means to me". This will coincide and support the start of our current small group study.  In preparation for Wednesday night, please read or listen to all four chapters of the book of Philippians.

Please be prayerful for Sis. Elna Grimm. She is at OSF getting evaluated for a possible minor stroke or TIA.

We want to thank our beloved church family for the prayers, cards and well wishes we received during Duane’s hospital stay and recovery.  We love you and thank you from all our heart.
