Our collection boxes are open this month for the Apostolic Christian LifePoints (formerly the handicapped home). Please prayerfully consider the special loved ones who are served by this facility and share accordingly. May God bless you richly for giving to the Lord's work.
All the teachers and craft helpers for Vacation Bible School may come down to the Sunday School supply room (old world relief supply room) to pick up their books and craft instructions any time.
A sign-up sheet to bring snacks for the VBS kids is on the counter in the back hall. Please see Sisters Melissa Rokey or Rhonda Zeltwanger with any questions.
We will be having "pie night" again this year on the last evening of VBS. There is a sign-up sheet in the message area. Thanks in advance to everyone who makes this night a success!!
We plan to have services at the Fellowship Hall Wednesday, July 26th. A sister from Winthrop, MN will be here to share about the mission she is serving in with the persecuted church overseas.
There will be a benefit dinner for Good Vision Farm (dairy in Haiti) on Monday, August 21st 3 pm CST at Fair Oaks Farms in Indiana. Bro. Les Kaeb (program administrator) plans to be there and give a current update on the progress of this program. At the information center there is a poster describing the event.
Bro. Wes & Sis. Joyce Hohulin are thankful for your prayers during the recent diagnosis of Sis. Joyce’s sister Joanne with esophageal cancer. Tests have shown that the cancer has also grown into her aorta and at least one lymphnode. More tests are scheduled but we trust God’s perfect plan and are continuing to pray that God will be merciful and provide peace in her heart. Please continue to pray for Joanne as we walk this path with her.
There will be a Bluegrass Benefit Concert for the Alzheimers Association on Saturday, August 12. Deer Fry International and Illinois Rail will be performing at Becker Auditorium at Eureka College from 6:30 to 8:30. Come and join us for a wonderful evening of music. Admission is free and all donations will support the Alzheimers Association. Contact Bro. Daryl Blunier if there are any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org or 309 397-2735
Bro. Cecil Nohl will turn 100 on July 18th. He has recently moved to the home in Roanoke and would welcome your visits there.
We rejoice with Bro. Alfred & Sis. Marie Kieser as they are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.
