Morton Singing, Sunday July 23, 6:30 pm

The Morton congregation was blessed to have hosted four Legacy Singings to celebrate their final year in the Jefferson Street church last year.  The singings were very well attended and they now would like to continue the singings in the new church in some way.  The plan is to have one large singing once a year until all of the same churches have been invited to the new church.  They have invited us for a Sunday evening hour of praising our God and Saviour in song.  The program format will be to sing for an hour starting at 6:30 with a snack, fellowship and open church for self-guided tours to follow.  Roanoke, Goodfield, Peoria and Gridley have been invited and many plan to attend so plan to arrive at least ten minutes early in order that everyone can be seated by 6:30.

Vacation Bible School is fast approaching. It will be July 31st-Aug 4th. Signup sheets for teacher and craft help are at the information center. We encourage & welcome seasoned veterans. Please be prayerful about this opportunity to serve and that the Gospel message can be clearly taught. FYI: your children will be in the same grade they just finished. (same grade as last SS year) If you have any questions please contact Bro. Josh or Sis. Carolyn Knapp.

The Gateway Woods annual auction is August 5th this year and we are in need of donations. Please, get them to Bro. Craig or Sis. Marla Wiegand as soon as possible.

Wednesday night we will have a topical study on the book of Haggai on how to take an empty life and build a house of peace.
