Our giving for the month of March will go to the General Fund. This collection will help provide funds for the operation and upkeep of our church facilities which include the church, fellowship hall, contents, grounds, parking lots and cemetery.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all who participated in the Jamaica fundraiser Saturday evening. Over $55,000 was raised for the mission trip. Thanks again to all who put it together, donated items and donated funds. If you purchased an item but didn’t pick up the contact sheet that went with it, you can pick those up at the message center.
The Eureka Home Auxiliary Board would like to thank the Goodfield Church for your support and prayers the past weekend. The Auction/Breakfast was very successful and we appreciate everything everyone did to help. Almost $65,000 was raised which is very consistent with the past.
HarvestCall sewing will be held Tuesday from 9-noon. Babysitting will be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Bro. Nathan will be having services at the Eureka Home this Tuesday at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to come and support.
There will be ACTIVE this week.
We plan to have testimonies and baptisms for Roman Bauman, Trevor Rocke and Cade Schumacher this weekend, March 18th and 19th. Bro. Earl Ringger plans to be with us. Testimonies will begin at 7pm Saturday.
We felt your payers in a powerful way this past week at the Elder conference. Bro. Jeff Grimm will plan to give an update sometime in April.
Fairbury is hosting HarvestCall’s Proclaim & Serve informational conference on Saturday, March 25 at the Fairbury church. Everyone is invited to attend, particularly those from Fairbury and nearby congregations. Learn about what God is doing through HarvestCall’s many missions in Haiti, Europe, Jamaica, and the US, and participate in breakouts and discussion groups on a wide variety of outreach topics. It will be a stimulating, enlightening, and potentially convicting afternoon and evening. Registration begins at 2:30.
Please pray for Cathy Appleyard as she is in hospice care. We are thankful she has professed Jesus as her Savior. You can contact her daughter Shelly Knapp if you would like to send a card or give her a call. Most importantly, please keep her in your prayers in what looks to be her final days.
Our dear friend Roger Mullins is having open heart surgery this Thursday. Please be prayerful for him and that God could guide the doctor's hands.
