Our monthly collection in May will be for the Apostolic Christian Counseling and Family Services.
This Tuesday evening will be the young group Bible Studies. The guys will be hosted by Bro. Dan and Sis. Heidi Schumacher at their home, and the girls will be a Fiesta at Sis. Ruth’s starting at 6:00 pm.
Apostolic Christian LifePoints will be giving a presentation this Wednesday, May 24, at 7:30 pm at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. The purpose of the presentation is to update you on the services they provide, the ways the Lord has blessed it and their current needs. Everyone is invited. LifePoints is a mission of the Apostolic Christian Church and they encourage you to come and learn about what you are supporting.

Meals on wheels in all of Woodford County and Washington is now being prepared and scheduled through Dough See Dough restaurant in Eureka. This mission is covered through donations and volunteers. The $6.50 meal cost only covers food. No vehicle maintenance gas and other costs. Donations and drivers are needed. Address: 144 S Main Street, Eureka. Phone 467-9338. Tina Schreyer is the owner and coordinator of the program since it was canceled by Maple Lawn Homes last year.
The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka is in need of RN’s and LPN’s. We are currently hiring full-time and part-time nurses for PM and night shifts as well as PRN nurses for all shifts. It is our mission to continue to provide “loving care in the spirit of Christ” to the elderly in our communities. Please consider serving in this mission field. The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka will begin their Summer Junior Volunteer Program. This program is open to any student entering the 7th grade through High School. Any student wishing to become a Junior Volunteer, or anyone wanting more information on this program should contact Wendy Falk at the nursing home by May 25. Orientation will be held Thursday, June 1 @ 1:30 in our Upstairs Activity Room. This Program runs from June 5-August 11, 2017.
The Apostolic Christian Mens’ sing will be held in Fairbury the weekend of August 26-27. All men are that enjoy singing are invited to participate. They use an online registration process. The Heart House is needing volunteers for the 21st Annual RACE WITH YOUR HEART event on June 10th at the Eureka Lake.
There is a signup sheet at the information center for making cookies and for helping the day of the event. Please sign up ASAP.
