2017 May 28 Announcements

Our monthly collection in May will be for the Apostolic Christian Counseling and Family Services.

For any of you with loved ones buried at the Roanoke Cemetery there are flags available at the south side of the cemetery, near the church for anyone who would like to place a flag on a veteran's grave. Flags can be placed either Sunday or Monday by a family member. On Tuesday, the flags will be retrieved, and a record made of each location, for Roanoke cemetery personnel to use in setting flags out in future years.

Please click-here to view the agenda for the father and son camp out on June 2 & 3. All men and boys of the church are invited. Any questions please contact brothers Bob or Royce Schieler. All women and girls are invited on Friday, June 2nd (during the father/son campout) to the gathering room at the fellowship hall for supper and games at 5:30 pm. Please bring a dessert or snack.

We plan to have testimonies and baptisms for Nate and Angie Hartman and Jacey Hoekstra June 3rd and 4th. The testimonies will begin at 6:30 pm. Brother Harvey Kaeb plans to be with us. Please make arrangements to come.  It is a joy to gather together as a church family to show love and support, as well as be spiritually uplifted by the experiences of our fellow believers in Christ.

Sis. Karen Wiegand wanted to express thanks to the church for all of your prayers and support during her recovery.

One June 13th our Brother Cecil Nohl will be flying to Washington DC on an Honors Flight for his service to our country.  As part of the Honors flight they will be presenting each soldier with an old fashion mail call from those back home; similar to what they would have received during their tours of duty.  If  you would like to participate in thanking Cecil for his commitment to our country, do so by taking part in the mail call.  You can do this by sending a card, to him, to the following address.  The letter must reach this address NO LATER THAN JUNE 6th so please be prompt in sending.
