Our monthly collection is for the Eureka Home. We are thankful to have a wonderful place that cares deeply for our loved ones. Please consider supporting the home this month.
There will be a meeting to review changes for transportation from the nursing home, duplexes, and condos. Family members of those riding, drivers or possible new drivers should attend a brief meeting following services on Sunday, December 3rd in the church dining room.
The current dinner list will be coming to a close mid-January. Please contact Sister Deb Fehr if you would like to make changes to the list. She will need to know if you either want to join the list or have your name taken off the list. Thank you.
Heartline and Hearthouse are now collecting new and unwrapped gifts for ages 0 to 17. (There is a list of gift suggestions at the information center). Please have your items at church by Wednesday, December 13th. Bins will be located at the main entrances. There is also an opportunity to help sort on December 15th. There are a number of timeslots available to ring the salvation army bell starting December 1st. This is a great opportunity to get out in the community and help Heart Line. The young group girls Bible study will be at the gathering room this Tuesday starting at 7pm. The young group guys Bible study will be at Bro. Dan and Sis. Heidi Schumacher’s at the same time.
All church Christmas caroling will be Friday, December 8th at 6pm. Sign-up sheets are at the message center. Please see Sis. Kasey Roth or Sis. Ashley Schieler with any questions.

Our dear Sister Caroll Zobrist from Eureka passed away. Caroll is the mother of our Sis. Dawn Maloney. Her visitation is today at the Fellowship Hall from 3-6pm. Her funeral will at the Eureka Church tomorrow at 10am with visitation from 9-9:45. Please be prayerful for Sis. Dawn and the entire Zobrist family.
Thank you for a great turn out for the minister direction ballot. Over 96% have indicated that it is time to move forward. Bro. Jeff shared that Minister ballots will be mailed out on Monday. Please return them to him by December 4th.
Apostolic Christian Skylines is seeking a registered nurse to fill the Director of Nursing position that is currently available. Qualifications include a registered nurse license from Illinois and a heart to serve the elderly. Experience in a nursing supervisory role is preferred. General duties include directing and implementing nursing services for the entire campus along with supervising our nursing team of care givers.
