Our October collection is for Hospital Lumiere in Haiti. It takes a large sum of money to maintain a 120-bed hospital in Haiti. By the grace of God, the Haitians have asked our Apostolic Christian Church and the World Relief Committee to oversee & manage this hospital. What a blessing it’s been. As you know Bro. Kurt and Sis. Joan Plattner serve at the Hospital. Please consider giving to this very worthy cause.
The Apostolic Christian HarvestCall benefit auction for Hospital Lumiere is planned for Friday, November 10 at Five Points in Washington. The food court and silent auction start at 4:30. The live auction begins at 7:00. For more information, or to donate an item or service, see the announcement on the church bulletin board or visit the HarvestCall website.

Letter to the church from Bro. Erik & Sis. Carrie Wiegand:
Dear Church Family,
Greetings to all of you from hot sunny Zambia. We would like to sincerely thank you for your prayers and support over the last 4+ years. As we have known and spoken to other missionaries, we have come to realize just how special our church is. We have been so blessed and humbled by your thoughtfulness and care for us. It enables us to serve in ways we couldn’t alone.
For quite some time as a couple, and a serving family, we have been wrestling through some issues. Seeking God’s will and not our own, we sense God’s direction to move back to the U.S. The details of our decision are too involved to mention here, but we sense His peace as we continue to move forward.
We have no illusions as to the challenges facing us in the next several months. Starting over is going to be difficult, but we trust in the One who has brought us this far. He has shown Himself faithful and trustworthy in the past and we know He will never leave or forsake us. At this point, Erik has accepted a job in the area. We plan to worship and serve with our brothers and sisters here in Goodfield. We look forward to becoming reacquainted with you and meeting those who have moved in since we left.
Please continue to pray for us as we navigate all the difficult decisions ahead of us. We only desire to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He sees fit. Please pray that He will shed light on our path and that we will be obedient and sensitive to the Spirit.
With humbled and thankful hearts,
Erik and Carrie and kids
