2017 September 10 Announcements

In September we will be collecting for Apostolic Christian HarvestCall. It exists to enable the brotherhood to come together and proclaim Christ & serve others, in the US, Mexico, Haiti, Jamaica, Europe and other places as the Lord leads. Many hurting people throughout the world need our help to be lifted out of spiritual and material poverty. Although what was once two organizations —World Relief and Mission Committee — are now integrated into one, our needs did not decrease. In fact, mission opportunities are expanding as brethren hear and respond to the Lord’s call. Thank you for your love, prayers and generosity. They are critical to our mission.

Our Adult Bible study will be each Sunday in September at the Fellowship Hall starting at 10am. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or a neighbor.

HarvestCall projects will be this Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the fellowship hall. Babysitting will be provided. Everyone is welcome!

We will be having services at the Eureka Home this Tuesday at 1pm. We welcome anyone to come and support.

We plan to have regular Wednesday evening services this coming Wednesday. Our monthly topical will be held the following Wednesday, September 20th.

The home is in need of volunteers to help the outside maintenance man. He needs help with trimming, raking, and hauling away in the near future. Any help would be appreciated. He is in need of volunteers in the morning hours M-F as these are the hours he works. Please contact Wendy Faulk at the home if you can help.

The Annual Eureka Home Benefit Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall. Tickets will be available at the Home front desk starting September 28th. We encourage all ages to come & Support the Home!

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have created widespread, unprecedented damage. Midwest Food Bank has already sent 11 loads of disaster relief, and 2 more have been requested. They will likely leave this weekend. The magnitude of the devastation indicates Midwest Food Bank’s involvement for several months. They are collecting food, hygiene and cleaning supplies, as well as monetary donations for items and transportation. For a list of items being collected and volunteer opportunities, please visit midwestfoodbank.org

There will be an open house, one gift, baby shower for Maddie Plattner and her son, Bohdi Grey Plattner, on Saturday, Sept 16, from 9:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m. It will be at the Gathering Room. Please bring $5 - $10. Everyone is welcome. If you have any questions, contact Sis. Rhonda Zeltwanger.
