Bro. Kurt & Sis. Joan Plattner and their family traveled back to Haiti today. They have three more months to serve in Haiti, please keep them in your prayers.
Thanks to everyone for helping with the church/fellowship hall cleaning! "Many hands make light work" :) There are quite a few lost and found items in the ladies coat room. Make sure you check them out! They will be available until Monday, April 23rd. At that time, the remaining items will be donated.
There will be HarvestCall projects at the Fellowship Hall this Tuesday starting at 9am. Everyone is welcome to come and babysitting will be provided.
This Wednesday night, Bro. Tim Lehman from Taylor, MO will be with us, and will speak on the topic “Getting perspective based on an Old Testament overview”. We will again meet at the Fellowship Hall for this presentation. Please keep Bro. Tim and Sis. Amber in your prayers.
There will be singing at the Eureka Home this Saturday starting at 6:45pm.
We will be hosting ACYF day next Sunday. The Bible Class will be at the Fellowship Hall in the morning and will join us in the sanctuary for the afternoon services.
The Adult Bible study will be at the gathering room each Sunday morning in April starting at 10am. Please feel free to invite a friend or neighbor. Because of ACYF, we will be having this in the old HarvestCall room in the basement of the church next Sunday. Please be prayerful for Bro. Jedd as he is leading those classes.
The Sunday School Child Sponsor Program has been updated. In order to create a better relationship with the sponsor children, each grade will have their own child they will correspond with. They will start in 1st grade and keep them through at least 8th grade, if not High School as well. All students will have the opportunity to donate $1 per Sunday to help support their child's needs. The congregation is invited to come down to Sunday School in the west assembly room to look at a world map of where our sponsor children are from!
The senior breakfast for the class of 2018 will be May 6th in the Gathering Room. The junior class will be helping. More information will be coming. Please contact Sisters Ruth Moser or Heather Hohulin if you have any questions.
We rejoice with MaryBeth Wiegand as she has turned her life over to the Lord in faith and repentance. May she feel His nearness and grace. MaryBeth is the daughter of Bro. Nathan and Sis. Laura Wiegand.
Luke 15:7 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth.
