2018 March 11 Announcements

Our giving for the month of March will go to the General Fund.  This collection will help provide funds for the operation and upkeep of our church facilities which include the church, fellowship hall, contents, grounds, parking lots and cemetery.

Goodfield will be supporting the Eureka Area Food Pantry in the month of March.  We would be grateful for a monetary donation, or there will also be a container in the entry for boxed cereal.

There will be HarvestCall projects at the Fellowship Hall this Tuesday at 9am. Babysitting will be provided.

We will be having services at the Eureka Home this Tuesday at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and support.

Our Annual Business meeting will be this Wednesday, March 14th starting at 7pm. Please make plans to attend this important meeting about the functions and activities of our church family.

The young group Bible study will be this Friday at Bro. Rick and Sis. Stacie Bauman’s home starting at 7:30pm.

We will have communion exhortation Sunday afternoon, March 18th in preparation for holy communion.

There is a signup sheet at the message center if you would like to sign your children up for babysitting during communion services on Friday, March 30. Also, if you have older children that would be willing to babysit, there is a sign-up sheet for that as well. Please sign up by Sunday, March 25 . Our next family hymn sing is coming up March 18th at 6:30 pm at the fellowship hall. We have invited Washington church as our guests and would love to have a great turnout for pie night! A signup sheet is at the message center if you are able to bring a pie! Any questions please see Sisters Lori Wiegand or Amy Hinrichsen.

We will be hosting a men’s sing on Tuesday, April 3rd. 7:00 at the Fellowship Hall. We have invited the Eureka and Congerville congregations to join us for the evening. For any question see Bro. Andy Bauman.

Thank you for your heartfelt prayer for the elder conference this past week.

Bro. Sam and Sis. Ruth Moser’s son Wyatt is attending a semester school in Northern Wisconsin that specializes in conservation. Wyatt will be there till the middle of May. If anyone would like to send a letter, text or email to Wyatt during this time please contact Bro. Kent Wiegand. He will facilitate this so that Wyatt gets one message per week until he gets back home.
