Our Goodfield congregation will be hosting the Brotherhood Conference in August of 2019. Brother Darrell and Sister Jennifer Stoller have agreed to facilitate the planning of this event. Our entire church family will be needed to help host this event, and later this summer we will be asking some of you to lead subcommittees that will include kitchen, ushering, parking, accommodations, technology, and others. While most of our work will not start in earnest until next year, there will be some time commitment needed from the committee heads this summer, including attending the conference this August in Gridley. Please keep this in mind as you make your summer travel plans this year and next, and if you have interest or talent in a specific area. The dates for the next two years conferences are August 8-10, 2018 and August 7-9, 2019. Please see Brother Darrell or Sister Jennifer for consideration.
Our sister Sarah Melton has moved back to Heritage Manor nursing home in Normal. She is feeling much better, and wanted to thank the church for the many prayers during her recovery from surgery. Sarah enjoys visitors, and would welcome anyone to stop in and see her!
