2018 March 4 Announcements

Our giving for the month of March will go to the General Fund.  This collection will help provide funds for the operation and upkeep of our church facilities which include the church, fellowship hall, contents, grounds, parking lots and cemetery.

Goodfield will be supporting the Eureka Area Food Pantry in the month of March.  We would be grateful for a monetary donation, or there will also be a container in the entry for boxed cereal.

Help is needed this Tuesday at the Eureka Food Pantry unloading trucks. If you can help plan to be there at 12:30pm.

There will be ACTIVE this Wednesday night.

There will be singing at the home this Saturday starting at 6:45. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to come. If you have not attended in a while, please make plans to come. It is a huge blessing to fellowship and sing to our dear residents.

Our Annual Business meeting will be Wednesday, March 14th starting at 7pm. Please make plans to attend this important meeting about the functions and activities of our church family.

We will have communion exhortation Sunday afternoon, March 18th in preparation for holy communion.

Our next family hymn sing is coming up March 18th at 6:30 pm at the fellowship hall. We have invited Washington church as our guests and would love to have a great turnout for pie night! The annual Heart Line and Heart House bake sale and spaghetti dinner will be Thursday, March 22. Please consider attending or donating items to the bake sale. Details are posted at the message center.

Our dear Brother Cecil Nohl passed away on Friday evening. His visitation will be at our Fellowship Hall on Tuesday from 4-7pm. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10am at the church with visitation from 9-9:45am. Please see Sis. Alice Ruegsegger if you can help with the meal. It is group 3’s turn. There is a sign-up sheet at the info center. Please be prayerful for the entire Nohl family.

We are thankful to announce the engagement of our dear Sister Kendahl Evans to Bro. Mark Gerber from Bluffton. Sis. Kendahl is the daughter of Jake and Shari Evans and Bro. Mark is the son of Bro. Alan and Sis Joli (yoli) Gerber. We pray the Lord will richly bless their marriage.
