This is a faith based 13-week program that helps people learn how to navigate the grief journey. This program is open to everyone from the church & surrounding communities. Please share with anyone you know who may benefit from the Griefshare program & contact Alan or Joanne for more information.
HarvestCall sewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. this Tuesday at the Fellowship Hall.
This Wednesday evening we will be having a talk on discipleship groups at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall. It will include a short discussion about what a discipleship group is and then a panel discussion with several brothers and sisters describing groups that they are involved with. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
This Thursday evening there is a singing and activity night at the Eureka AC Home at 6:30. Everyone is welcome to come spend some time with our residents there.
Our study for 2026 Winter Group Study is “Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers”. While we know what Christ has done for us on the cross, do we really understand His heart for His people who are striving heavenward yet are weary and faltering on the journey? This study reflects on the words of Jesus when He said, "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest."
This small group study is open to all and has been such a blessing to build spiritually deep relationships within our church body.
Please sign-up for the Winter Bible study here. You can also sign-up at the information center. Also, remember that checking leader indicates being willing to lead/host a group, please consider and mark being a leader or host a group.
Please sign up by this Sunday, January 18th. Any questions, please see Bro. Jon and Sis. Abby Hohulin.
It is Goodfield’s turn to have Sunday morning services at the Eureka AC Home each Sunday in January. These services begin at 8:45 a.m. Please come help sing and support our ministers if you are able.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
There will be a blood drive at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall on Monday, January 19th from 1:00-6:00pm. If you are willing to donate blood, please sign up online or call Sis. Lynda Hinrichsen.
2026 church yearly calendars are available at the message center. All events have been added to our online calendar on our church website as well.
There will be a Middle School Youth Activity Night at the Eureka Middle School on February 1st for our 5th-8th grade students. This is a great way to get the Sunday school students of our church together in the wintertime for supper, have fun playing games, and continue to build relationships with each other. Student drop-off is at 4:30 p.m. and pick-up is at 7:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Bro. Bob or Sis. Ashley Schieler.
It has been brought to our attention that several of the vendors we use for serving lunch, such as Beecham’s, Casey’s, Schnuck’s and ALDI are now requiring a 2 week notice for orders. Because of this we have compiled a new GREEN binder that has vendor information and past lunch history for you to pick up 2 weeks before you serve so you can place your orders in a timely fashion. You will then take the green binder back and exchange for the purple binder the Sunday before you serve. The purple binder has key and the rest of the information you will need to serve. Sis. Roxy will note in the weekly announcement email who serves in two weeks so you are alerted and can get started with the planning. Please remember if you switch serving dates with someone else to let Sis. Christy Wiegand know so she can update the church calendar online which Roxy will use for the reminders. If you have any questions, please see Sis. Emily Sauder or Sis. Judy Knapp.
Rotating potluck lists are ready to be picked up at the message center. Thank you to everyone willing to be a part!
