THIS WEEKS EVENTS:
This Wednesday evening Bro. Nathan Wiegand plans to have a topical study on Lent. This will be in the church sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
We invite any men of the church (high school age and up) who have any interest in learning more about song leading to an introductory song leading class followed by pizza. We will meet in the Gathering Room at 7:00 PM this Thursday, February 19th. Please see Bro. Darrell Stoller with any questions.
The Young Group is offering free babysitting for anyone in the church Friday, February 20th, from 6:00-8:30pm. Reminder that your child must be potty trained to attend. We hope to have a great turnout! See the flyer in the link at the bottom of the announcements email with more details! If you have questions, contact Sis. Kinley Stoller.
Next Sunday (2/22) there will be an all-church shower immediately following the afternoon church service for Elena Wettstein & Austin Gerber, Angie Hartman & Job Knapp, Jacob Fehr & Allie Hattan. The shower will be held in the CENTER room of the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a paper product and $5-$10 for each couple (Venmo is also an option). LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Bible Class would like to invite the church to their Mission Trip Benefit Silent Auction and Dinner on Saturday, February 28. The silent auction will be from 4:00 - 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm. If you plan to attend the dinner, please sign up at the message center. You can sign up individually or reserve a table of 8. Proceeds will go toward the Bible Class Mission Trip to New Mexico in June. Thank you for your support! If you have questions, see Sis. Emily Sauder.
The Bloomington Midwest Food Bank Gala Dinner catered by Trails End Smokehouse will be Saturday, April 18th, with the live auction immediately following. Every dollar donated to Midwest Food Bank transforms into over $30 worth of food for those in need. We appreciate the wonderful past support from the Goodfield Church family! To make a donation or purchase tickets, please contact Paula Hartman, Kary Wiegand, Alice Ruegsegger or Scott Wiegand by March 5.
