2023 February 5 Announcements
MONTHLY COLLECTION:
Our collection for the month of February is for Apostolic Christian HarvestCall. This is an outreach arm of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. It is a ministry formed from the merger of the church’s World Relief and Mission Committee. HarvestCall’s purpose is to enable the Apostolic Christian brotherhood to proclaim Christ and serve others beyond the capacity of the local church. Please join us as we strive to alleviate suffering and despair around the world by sharing Jesus through words of truth and deeds of compassion.

Note about the Berean Bus Ministry:
January 2023
Greetings!
All of us on the Berean Bus Ministry Committee are happy to update you on our 20th year. The years have flown by with uncounted miles driven, fellowship enjoyed and prayers answered. Have you enjoyed a trip, prayed for family members who are traveling or given to help with the needs? God has wonderfully provided, and we wish to sincerely thank each one who has generously donated to keep the buses rolling. A special thanks goes out to our many CDL drivers in 14 different Apostolic Christian Churches.
Looking back, it was in January of 2015 that we were able to purchase two MCI motor coaches. Just a few years ago a garage facility in Goodfield became available to rent. It provides a nice place to service and clean them with access to the interstate and a central location between the many of our churches.
The benefit of a long busride is how it provides plenty of time for fellowship – sharing and singing that binds our hearts together. Over the years we have enjoyed travel to mission trips, Bible classes to ACYF programs, field trips, transporting youth to our boys’ and girls’ camps, choir trips, travel to funerals and church trips to help support small congregations.
As we start 2023, we are thankful that the restrictions are behind us. Over the past two years activities slowed and therefore the buses had to often sit idle. This reduced our income and effectiveness. We want to raise awareness that the buses are ready to meet your needs.
The buses are available exclusively for groups within our Apostolic Christian Churches. Our wish is to keep our suggested donation at a lower price and allow for more groups to use them. We only keep a small reserve of funds to cover repairs, insurance and expenses, but we would like to build this fund looking to the future and realizing that upgrading will be required.
If the Lord would lead you to make a gift to the Berean Bus Ministry, we would be most grateful. We are all volunteers and the ministry is a 501C3 not-for-profit corporation. Please be in prayer with us as we make decisions for our future and as we ask God for his traveling mercies on the roads. To schedule a bus, call or text Sis. Dianne Wyss 309-657-3471 or email her at fdwyss91@gmail.com.
