THIS WEEK’S EVENTS:
Harvest Call sewing will be held Tuesday at the Fellowship Hall from 9-11 am.
This Wednesday evening Bro. Roy Wiegand will give a short testimony and then take us to Vietnam through the eyes of a 20-year-old combat medic. This will be at the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 and everyone is welcome.
We plan to have testimonies and baptisms next weekend for Valerie Roth and Hadley Plattner. Testimonies will begin at 6:30 Saturday evening. It is group 3’s turn to help and bring food for the baptism and you can sign up here.
We'd like to invite our Goodfield church to a singing after the baptisms next Sunday, at the Fellowship Hall at 6:30.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Our Family Hymn Sing and Appreciation Dinner for Bro. Jeff and Sis. Ruth Grimm is Sunday, October 15th at 5:00 pm at the Fellowship Hall. You can sign up here to RSVP and to help bring food. If you have further questions, you can contact sisters Larisa Wettstein or Jenise Wiegand.
Please use this new link to sign up to help paint the mural in the Sunday School hallway. Anyone who can color inside the lines is welcome to sign up to help. Click here to view a slideshow of the progress on the Sunday school creation mural. We are asking for high school ages and older to help with the painting of the creation mural down in the church basement. We will have 3 or 4 people at a time and add more time slots as we progress so check back often. Contact Sis. Dawn Maloney with any questions.
The Annual Eureka Home Family Fest will take place Sat. evening Oct. 7th at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall from 4 - 8pm. Please check the bulletin board or the
Home website for more information on the meal, food booths, children’s activities, online and silent auction. We will be accepting items for the auctions or cash donations. You can drop these items off at the HOME by Sept. 30th. Items for the Bake sale are much appreciated. Hospital Lumiere Auction will be held in person on Friday, Nov 10 in person at the Water Tower in Gridley. There will also be an Online Auction from Nov 2 through Nov 4. REPENTANCE ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are thankful to announce that Wade Wiegand has come in repentance and confessed his need for a savior. Wade is the son of Bro Doug and Sis Lynn Wiegand. Please pray for Wade and encourage him in his walk with Jesus.
