NATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Our Silver Lining’s next reader-submitted article is set for September 2025. The topic is: Life-Changing Message: Share how a specific Bible passage has guided, comforted, or transformed your life (Romans 12:2). Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by July 18, 2025. Anyone may also email that same address for writing support or clarification.
Our church General Conference is August 9th in Tremont. There are several changes from the previous conferences that really enhance the experience. It’s on a Saturday this year. The format is now a series of talks, smaller breakout talks, and discussion groups. The overall theme is an inspirational look at Jesus building His church using Matthew 16:18 “...upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” It would be great to see a large group from Goodfield attend this year since it’s right down the road.
The Morris and Morris North churches are thankful to host the 2025 Apostolic Christian Men’s Sing on Saturday and Sunday, August 23-24, 2025, at the Morris church, Lord willing. Registration is now open at this link and and men of any age are welcomed to join in praising God in song with us. Further details will be published on https://www.acmensing.org/, and please contact Brother Jeff Steiner at jwsteiner+acms@gmail.com with any questions.
THANK YOU NOTE:
The Knapp family would like to express their appreciation for all the love and support they received both before and after the passing of Bro. Rick. We have been truly blessed and humbled by the kindness and generosity our church family has shown through it all. It is so comforting to know that so many care so much. God bless!
