This Wednesday evening Bro. Darren Plattner plans to be with us to share about “Pursuit of Growth (we are called to be diligent in pursuing growth)”. This will be at the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 and everyone is welcome.
Our church family will be roofing one of our neighbors homes this Saturday. Any skill level will be appreciated and helpful. They will start at 7:00 AM and work until it’s finished. Lunch will be provided. A sign-up link will be sent out soon. Contact Bro. Doug Glueck with any questions.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
A new session of GriefShare begins September 14 at 6:30 pm at the Goodfield AC Fellowship Hall. GriefShare is a 13 week faith based program that helps those grieving the loss of a loved one understand & navigate the grief journey. There are pamphlets at the information center or contact Bro. Alan & Sis. Joanne Roth with any questions. Please share with friends or community members that may benefit from the program.
The Apostolic Christian Bookstore in Goodfield, IL, has a new opening for a part-time Store Associate. This opening is for Wednesday and Thursdays from approximately 8:30am-11:30 am. Woodford County Heartline would like to thank you for your recent donation of 105 Packed High School Backpacks for their 2026 Operation Backpack campaign. Your donation is greatly appreciated! Each year, the number of people in Woodford County needing help with school supplies increases, and we appreciate your generosity to assist us in this program. Last year we were able to provide school supplies to over 200 children. Our organization continues to be able to provide resources that help kids transition into a new school year because of community donors like you. Woodford County Heartline and Heart House provides the resources needed to support people in Woodford County and the city limits of Washington, IL with needs they cannot provide for themselves, or with shelter. We are grateful for you and hope you will continue to be a part of our commitment to provide emergency shelter (for women and children only), financial aid and education, community and resource referral, and basic essentials to residents of Woodford County and Washington, IL who find themselves homeless, a victim of domestic violence, or in any other short term crisis situation.

There’s now a “free” section, and a “lost and found” section on the table in the women’s coat room. Items in the free section will be taken to Goodwill if not claimed. Contact Sis. Trish Gerber with any questions.
Save the Date. Our annual Eureka Home Family Fest will take place Saturday, October 3rd at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall from 4pm - 730pm. COMING SOON~ the Eureka Home website and the bulletin boards will soon have more information about the food booths, children's activities and the Silent Auction. There will NOT be an online auction this year. Traditional Auction item donation will NOT be needed. You can talk to your EACH Auxiliary representatives for other donations, such as meals, activities, and services. Items for the Bake Sale will also be needed. This is an opportunity to share and enjoy the gifts God has given to each of us. Please see sisters Jill Wagner, Melissa Rokey, Sara Glueck or Jenise Wiegand for questions.

BAPTISM ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are thankful that Lainey Roth, daughter of Bro. Derek and Sis. Joy, is at peace with God and desires baptism. We are looking forward to hearing her testimony and baptizing Lainey on September 26 and 27.
