Our collection for the month of September is for Hospital Lumiere. This is a church collection established to provide support of missionary, work team or supporting activities relative to Hospital Lumiere in Haiti.

THIS WEEK’S EVENTS:
HarvestCall Sewing will be held this morning (Tuesday) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Hall. Contact Sis. Maribeth Rocke with any questions.
This Wednesday evening Bro. Kirk Plattner from our West Lafayette, IN congregation plans to be with us. His topic is “How do I stand for Biblical Truth in Today’s Society”. This will be at the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m.
It is Goodfield’s turn to have Sunday morning services at the Eureka AC Home each Sunday in September. These services begin at 8:45 a.m. Please come help sing and support our ministers if you are able.
Everyone is invited to an outdoor singing at Bro. Art & Sis. Pam Wiegand’s this Sunday, September 13th at 6:15 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chairs, bug spray and jackets if it is cool.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
A new session of GriefShare begins September 14 at 6:30 pm at the Goodfield AC Fellowship Hall. GriefShare is a 13-week faith based program that helps those grieving the loss of a loved one understand & navigate the grief journey. There are pamphlets at the information center or contact Bro. Alan & Sis. Joanne Roth with any questions. Please share with friends or community members that may benefit from the program.
Our annual Eureka Home Family Fest will take place Saturday, October 3rd at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall from 4:00pm - 7:30pm. Children's activities end at 7:00pm and silent auction ends at 7:15pm. The Eureka Home website has more information about the food booths, children's activities, and the Silent Auction. There will not be an online auction this year; however, you will find some of the "most loved" online auction items from the past on this year’s silent auction. We are all set on silent auction donations unless we have reached out to you personally. Items for the Bake Sale will still be needed. See Sisters Jill Wagner, Missy Rokey, Sara Glueck or Jenise Wiegand for questions, and please plan to come out and support us in this event filled with fellowship, food and fun for all ages!

PRAYER REQUEST & PRAYER REQUEST UPDATES:
Sister Laura Wiegand's father, Denny Mott, passed away Saturday. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 2201 Veterans Road, Morton and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Friday morning before the funeral. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at the Morton Apostolic Christian Church. Please pray for Sis. Laura, Bro. Nathan, and their family as they work through the grief in this difficult time.
Thank you for the prayers for Bro Harold Hohulin. Lord willing, he will be released from the hospital today and will continue treatment at home.
Gail Ames would like everyone to know that she is recovering at Washington Senior Living in Washington. She would like to have visitors and welcomes anyone who would like to stop by!
BAPTISM ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are thankful that Brenna Plattner is at peace with God and desires baptism. We plan to hear Brenna’s testimony and baptize her on September 26 and 27. Please continue to pray for Brenna and reach out to her with any questions or words of encouragement.
