Our collection for the month of April is for the Charity Fund. This is a collection to provide charity funds available for distribution by the Charity Committee and administrator. Funds are provided to assist individuals who may have experienced hardships, health issues or unexpected financial obligations.

THIS WEEK’S EVENTS:
Our Wednesday evening services this week are canceled due to the Good Friday service.
Everyone is invited to our Good Friday service this Friday at 7:00 p.m. Members and converts will remain after the service for communion. Bro. James Fehr from Tremont plans to be with us. There is a sheet at the message center to sign up for babysitting during communion on Friday, April 7th. Please contact Sis. Kasey Roth for further information.
The Easter Sunrise Service will be next Sunday, April 9th starting at 7:30 at the Fellowship Hall with breakfast following. We are looking for people to help with food prep on Saturday morning and to help serve breakfast on Sunday morning. Please click-here to sign-up if you are able to help. Contact Bro. Jon & Sis. Sunday school schedule update:
Sunday school will continue through May 28th for all students except the 3 year old class. Their last day was yesterday (4/2).
There will be Sunday school on Easter Day. We will have the sunrise service, then breakfast and then a morning church service like normal, with the students in Sunday school. There will be no lunch or afternoon service that day.
It is Goodfield’s turn to have Sunday morning services at the Eureka AC Home each Sunday in April. These services begin at 9:00 a.m. Up to 25 people (including children) can attend so please come help sing and support our ministers if you are able. Bro. Ty Taufer will have the service and Bro. Erik Wiegand plans to lead the singing next Sunday, April 9 so please let one of them know if you plan to be there.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
With the warmer weather we are having, mowing will soon begin at the cemetery. Please remove any ground decorations you may have around the headstones this week if possible.

On Wednesday, April 12th we will have a testimony night at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall main assembly room. We plan to give opportunity for Bro. Jim Hohulin to share how the Lord has worked in his life. There will be opportunity for anyone in the congregation to ask questions as well. Everyone is welcome!
The Goodfield church is invited to a ministry update about the CVE ("House of Life and Hope") ministry located in Mexico. Two missionaries from CVE will host a presentation and Q&A time for our church family at 7PM on Friday, April 14th at the Morton Fellowship Hall.
We plan to have testimonies and baptisms on April 15th and 16th for Adam & Kathy Herrmann and Aiden Post. Testimonies will begin at 6:30 p.m. Please click-here to sign up if you are able to help or bring food, it is Group 2's turn.
The third phase of demolition for the Sunday school remodel is scheduled for the two Saturdays after Easter. Saturday, April 15th and 22nd. We are looking for 100 volunteers on each of those Saturdays as this phase is much larger than the previous phases. We are looking for men and women, young and old. The Eureka congregation has invited Goodfield church for a hymn sing at their church on Sunday, April 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
NATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
At the Mid-Winter Conference, the Elder Body gave unanimous support for holding an annual church service in the Black Hills area in western South Dakota. The Lester, Iowa, congregation will be responsible for the planning and execution of this annual service. We envision this service to be similar to the service that has been held annually in Clyde Park, Montana, for many years. The first service will be held on July 23, 2023. BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT:
We rejoice with Clayton and Lexi Wiegand as they were blessed with a baby boy, Harvey Allen on March 30th.
PEACE ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are very thankful to announce that Joan Zimmerman is at peace with God and man and is ready for baptism. Joan is the daughter of Bro. Mike & Sis. Gretchen Zimmerman. Please pray for her and encourage her during this most important time in her life. If you have any words of encouragement or concerns, please contact her. We plan to have Joan’s testimony and baptism on May 27 and 28th with Vinnie Schick and Sammie Barcikowski/Fisher. Testimonies will start at 6:30.
