MONTHLY COLLECTION: Apostolic Christian LifePoints During this week of VBS we will once again be collecting monetary donations for Sis. Erin Davis who operates En Gedi House in Jamaica. A note from Erin with a brief summary of this ministry: En Gedi is a place of safety in Jamaica that takes in babies as needed until a safe long term placement can be found for them. In the past 7 years we have had 25 babies placed with us. They have stayed with us from 24 hours - 4 years. We also work with the local government agency to provide “support” bags as needed to provide families with a little extra help so they are able to keep their families together. We are so blessed and humbled by your prayers and support that keep our ministry going. MONTHLY COLLECTION: Our collection for the month of July is for Apostolic Christian LifePoints. LifePoints provides Christian homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With our support, LifePoints serves individuals at 17 homes that include Timber Ridge, Oakwood Estate, Linden Estate, and 14 smaller homes throughout Morton called Community Integrated Living Arrangements or “CILAs”. With the Lord’s help and 450+ volunteers, we have completed this project in less than six weeks. Thank you for your prayers and support. Energetic volunteers came from 10 states ranging from Oregon to Connecticut. 37 churches were represented. 64% of the volunteers were from the local churches. This is been an encouraging, faith-building, relationship-building project. God has been glorified! There were no injuries! Thank you for praying! We know how important plugging into a Christ-centered college group is - especially in the first year of college. Thus, we are hosting our annual Back to School Picnic on Sunday, August 24, 2025. This picnic is meant to be a night where we can become acquainted with one another in anticipation of the upcoming school year. The picnic will begin at 4PM at the Hessel Park Large Pavilion in Champaign, IL, and parents are encouraged to attend! Students and their families are also warmly invited to attend the Champaign church, with services starting at 10:00am (singing 9:45am) that morning. Rita for their efforts and pray God will bless them. PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE: An update on Bro. Sam Moser’s health issues: The Amyloid in my lung has not grown in the 3 months of testing completed. The plan going forward is to have annual CT scans to watch for growth of the Amyloid, if no growth or no issues I will be able to live with it indefinitely. Should it start to grow, or I begin to have effects from the Amyloid, they will radiate the Amyloid, which they say that they have a high success rate with. The mass in my pancreas turns out to be scar tissue, which has partially healed, the plan going forward is to do an MRI in August to verify continued healing, or lack thereof. My prayer is they can find why the pancreatic attacks continue. BAPTISM ANNOUNCEMENT: We rejoice that Fiona and Donovan Rocke are at peace with God and desire baptism. They are the daughter and son of Bro. Adam & Sis. Maribeth Rocke. We plan to hear their testimonies and baptize them June 21st and 22nd.
