MONTHLY COLLECTION: Apostolic Christian LifePoints During this week of VBS we will once again be collecting monetary donations for Sis. Erin Davis who operates En Gedi House in Jamaica. A note from Erin with a brief summary of this ministry: En Gedi is a place of safety in Jamaica that takes in babies as needed until a safe long term placement can be found for them. In the past 7 years we have had 25 babies placed with us. They have stayed with us from 24 hours - 4 years. We also work with the local government agency to provide “support” bags as needed to provide families with a little extra help so they are able to keep their families together. We are so blessed and humbled by your prayers and support that keep our ministry going. Energetic volunteers came from 10 states ranging from Oregon to Connecticut. 37 churches were represented. 64% of the volunteers were from the local churches. This picnic is meant to be a night where we can become acquainted with one another in anticipation of the upcoming school year. The picnic will begin at 4PM at the Hessel Park Large Pavilion in Champaign, IL, and parents are encouraged to attend!
