Our collection for the month of October is for HarvestCall.
The Young Group Guys Bible study will be this Tuesday evening at Bro. Rick & Sis. Stacie Bauman’s house at 7:30 p.m. The Young Group Girls Bible study will be at the same time in the Gathering Room.
Harvest Call Sewing Projects will be held Friday, October 30, from 9-10:30 in the middle room of the Fellowship Hall. COVID cases in our area are rising...please come prepared to follow public health guidelines. Babysitting will not be offered at this time. Contact Sis. Brittany Zeltwanger if you would like to participate from home and are interested in a take-home kit.
The Elder Body recently approved a set of Guiding Principles for our Apostolic Christian brotherhood, to accompany the church vision, purpose, and previously-developed mission statement.
Click-here to see a copy of the work
for your reference and study, including an overview page and details for each Guiding Principle. Resources are being created to help the brotherhood reflect on these topics together, including an Around the Table podcast that was recently released. In the meantime, I would welcome suggestions as to how we might communicate these principles and learn together most effectively.
We will have our adult friends Bible study every Sunday in November except the first Sunday. So, the studies will begin on November 8th and then be held the rest of the month of November. These will be held in the big room at the Fellowship Hall at the 10:30 service and Bro. Kurt Plattner will be leading the studies.

This is a note from Sis. Sara Glueck To Our Church Family,
Words are truly inadequate to express our thanks for all that has been done for our family since we started attending church here. This church has shown us the love of Jesus so well. You took us right in and supported Herman and I during our time of conversion and baptism. You rejoiced with us as we welcomed three baby girls into our family. The last five years you have prayed for us and wrapped your arms of love around us in so many ways. I can't even begin to mention everything because I would neglect something. Many thanks for all the prayers, cards, texts, calls, gifts, food, help with the girls, help on the farm, other acts of service, and the list goes on and on. The memorial flowers were beautiful for Herman and also for my dad back in March. We're thankful to be part of a church that always points to Jesus Christ! May God bless each one!
Herman's parents, siblings and their families also wish to express heartfelt thanks: "We have been blessed by the outpouring of love, support and generosity extended to us during our time of loss. We felt you were hurting with us. May God richly bless this church family."
-the Herman Glueck family
The angels are rejoicing in that Claire and Larisa Wiegand have surrendered their hearts to the Lord in repentance. Claire and Larisa are the daughters of Bro. Erik and Sis. Carrie Wiegand. We are so thankful for surrendered hearts and the gift of salvation.
