Our collection for the month of September is for Hospital Lumiere and Haiti Support.
HarvestCall projects will be held this Tuesday, September 14, from 9-noon.
This Wednesday in place of regular services we plan to have a testimony night at the Fellowship hall main assembly room. We plan to give opportunity for Sister Myrna Schwenk and Bro. Keith Leman to share how the Lord has worked in their lives. There will be opportunity for anyone in the congregation to ask questions as well. We look forward to getting to know each other better and grow in our walk with Jesus Christ. We are planning a series of Topicals and testimony nights for the next few months on Wednesday. We will post the schedule on our online calendar as well as our monthly printed calendar. You can also

There will be a double church shower on Saturday, September 25th from 9 to 10 am for Kendra Lowery & Zach Minchew and Gage Bauman & Kaylynn Schlipf. Please bring a paper product and $5-$10 dollars for each couple. If you have any questions see Sis. Lynda Hinrichsen.
This is a reminder to encourage ministers, Sunday School teachers, and spouses to consider attending the Apologetics Conference on
Saturday, October 9
in Gridley, IL.
Registration is required
by Sunday, September 26.
This conference is the second annual offering by the Apologetics Committee of the Elders Teaching Resource, which exists to raise awareness of what apologetics is, why it matters, and provide entryways into major apologetic questions for Apostolic Christian ministers and Sunday School teachers. This year’s theme is "Reliability of the Scriptures.” Topics include:
• Is the Bible the Word of God?
• How Did We Get the Bible?
• Modern Challenges to the Bible’s Authority (5 challenges will be addressed)
• How to Preach/Teach on Controversial Topics
• A Call to Love the Word
Save the date for our fall family hymn sing on Sunday, October 17th! A special evening at the fellowship hall is planned with pizza, packing HarvestCall kits, singing, and a short program by the Junior Choir. More details coming soon.
The 2021 General Conference talks focused on verses from 2 Peter 1. Over the next few weeks, we will touch on each of the 8 talks after our afternoon service. Please carve out around 20 to 25 minutes the following week to listen to the corresponding talk. They are very encouraging talks about faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, kindliness, and charity.
Week 4
Add temperance to knowledge - Bro. Jon Schmidgall
- What is temperance?
- How do we obtain or add it to our knowledge? (Both fruit of the spirit and for us to “add.”)
- How can it help make knowledge more useful and palatable? Acts 24:25
- How is temperance relevant in our time? 1 Corinthians 9:25-27
