Refreshments will be served. There will also be a bake sale to help generate funds for the Haitians. We will need shoppers and baked goods donated! If you have any questions please see sisters Jill Wagner, Joan Plattner or Joyce Kloter.
We plan to have testimonies and baptisms next weekend for Jessica Wettstein and Kinley Stoller. Testimonies will begin at 6:30 Saturday evening. It is group 1’s turn to help and bring food for the baptism. Click-here to sign up to help.
LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Perspectives in the World Christian Movement Class is being offered at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall beginning January 2024! Perspectives is a course of vision, hope and passion, whose mission is to mobilize the Body of Christ into strategic engagement in God's global purpose locally and abroad. Perspectives will guide Christians through finding greater alignment with His priorities in building His kingdom here on earth. 15 different speakers over 15 weeks bring a wide variety of experience and stories to engage you in community and learning with your peers in a truly interactive setting. Prepare to be “ruined for the ordinary” as you learn to view your community and world with a Christ centered “perspective”! Please see Bro. Erik, Sis. Carrie, Sis. Savannah or Sis. Christy Wiegand for more information.
The Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka has an excellent opportunity in their office for a Payroll Bookkeeper. Please see the announcements email for more information.
The pre-k through 4th grade ACTIVE will be putting together boxes for the Operation Christmas Child. We are in need of a few donations to pack in the boxes. Please sign up here if you can help out! There is a large bin in the women's coat room that you can place your items in. Please have all donations turned in by November 12. Please see Sis. Cassie Knepp with any questions.
The next Silver Lining reader-submitted article is set for January 2024. As we seek to let Biblical lives characterize us, the topic is: What practical lessons have you learned from people in the Bible, such as David, Daniel, Peter, Esther, Deborah, or others (Hebrews 11:13-16)? Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to features@acsilverlining.org by November 15, 2023. You may email that same address for writing support or clarification. Chime in about how Bible stories bless children … of all ages, including you!
Please use this new link to sign up to help paint the mural in the Sunday School hallway. Anyone who can color inside the lines is welcome to sign up to help. Click here to view an updated slideshow of the progress on the Sunday school creation mural. We are asking for high school ages and older to help with the painting of the creation mural down in the church basement. We will have 3 or 4 people at a time and add more time slots as we progress so check back often. Contact Sis. Dawn Maloney with any questions.

Registration for the 2023 Apologetics Conference on Saturday, November 11 in Indianapolis is now open to all interested attendees. Registration is required and will close on November 1. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of what apologetics is, why it matters, and provide entryways into major apologetic questions. This year's theme is: Does God Matter?
While "Does God exist?" may be one of mankind’s most fundamental questions, our increasingly secular society seems to be asking a different question: "Does it even matter?" Join us at the 2023 Apologetics Conference as we discuss how to respond to atheism and apathy.

The angels are rejoicing in that Dave Wiegand and Bristol Wiegand have surrendered their hearts to the Lord in repentance. Dave’s wife is Janet. Bristol is the daughter of Bro. Dan & Sis. Kayla Wiegand. We are thankful for their surrendered hearts and the gift of salvation.
