We would appreciate everyone praying for guidance from the Holy Spirit and filling out the ballot by this Friday, March 6th. LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Bible Class would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone for the love and support at their benefit Saturday night. We raised over $90,000 for the trip, enough to cover all our needs! It was a blessed evening and we are so thankful. Several people have asked about ordering the Prayer T-shirts and sticker puzzles that were at the benefit. If you would like to order any, please see the information on the order form in the link at the bottom of the announcements email. It is time to update our church directory. They are in boxes in the back hall. Please feel free to grab however many you want. The couples that were blessed by the church last week at the wedding shower want to thank the church for your love and support. All church cleaning will be held Friday evening, March 13th and Saturday morning, March 14th. We will plan to clean the Fellowship Hall Friday evening and then the inside of the church on Saturday. We will begin at 7:30am Saturday and hope to be done by noon. Cleaning supplies will be provided, but please bring sweepers and step ladders if possible. Instructions will be posted at the church. You may sign up for an area in which you would be willing to serve using this link . If you would like to clean an area of the church before Saturday, please let Sis. Stacie Bauman or Sis. The Bloomington Midwest Food Bank Gala Dinner catered by Trails End Smokehouse will be Saturday, April 18th, with the live auction immediately following. She is the mother of our Bro. Curt Wettstein. She is also a sister to Les Bauman, Jake Bauman & Karen Harminson. Visitation will be held on Monday, 3/2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall. Funeral will be on Tuesday, 3/3 at the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church at 10:00 a.m. with further visitation from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Please be prayerful for the entire Wettstein family. BAPTISM ANNOUNCEMENT: We are very thankful for saved souls desiring membership in our church. We are looking forward to hearing the testimonies of Luke Lowery, Jake and Liz Lowery, and Zach and Kindra Minchew on March 14th with their baptisms on March 15th. Rod Hinrichsen and Bro. Darrel Stoller, our board members from the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home, will be talking about the last 60-year history of the home and the future of an Assisted Living facility. This will be at the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Please come support the Bible Class at their silent auction and dinner this coming Saturday, February 28. There is still a lot of room available, and they would love your support! The silent auction is from 4-5:30 and will have something for everyone! It will be followed by a delicious dinner at 6:00. LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: We would like to extend a big thank you to Nate and Brittany Zeltwanger and their committee for hosting the marriage conference this weekend. Other couples were Robert and Melissa Rokey, Dan and Kayla Wiegand, Rhonda and Loren Zeltwanger, Emily and Nate Sauder, Curt and Larissa Wettstein, and Ross and Kitty Hermann. We would like to update the church on our building exploration process. We have established a building exploration committee and provided them with the feedback from our church survey and discussions. They have met several times now and are exploring three basic paths: Option #1 - Updates – Upgrades to interior of church with possible minor exterior/addition work Option #2 - Major update – Upgrades to interior of church with addition(s) Option #3 - Potential new build. Next steps will involve budgeting and putting together ideas on rough order of magnitude costs for each of these options. Once direction has been prayed about and approved, we will develop committees to work on different areas/aspects of the direction we pursue. All items are being reviewed and discussed to provide the church with options to move forward or remain as we are currently. The good news is that we don’t have to do anything, however, the last time a major remodel was done has been over 50 years ago! If anyone has questions, let any of us on the committee know and we will discuss them as a group. The committee specifically is asking for prayers for God to direct us and the church on how to move forward. We understand we are stewards of what God has given us, and our main goal as a church is to provide teaching, community, and discipleship to show the love of Jesus to the world!
