LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
National Nursing Home Week this year is May 11-15th. The theme is Americana in celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday. During this week, the Eureka AC Home always has special activities and treats for the residents and staff. They are requesting Apple Pies from their sponsoring churches to serve. They are asking each church to provide 7 apple pies that do not have to be refrigerated. This will be a wonderful treat for our residents and staff! They plan to serve the pies on Thursday May 14th. If pies could be dropped off at the Eureka AC Home West Entrance some time the day before, on Wednesday May 13th, that would be great! Please sign up here if you are willing to bring a pie. Contact Sis. Roxy Blunier with any questions. Thank you!
The Annual men and boys campout is coming up on May 29th and 30th. Details for this event can be found in the link at the bottom of the announcements email. Please sign up here or at the message center if you plan to attend. Contact Brothers Austin McClure or Tyler Getz with any questions.
Gas cards.
Gas prices are going up and people dealing with getting to work and feeding a family are going to feel the pinch of these rising costs. The gift of a gas card can free up funds in their monthly budget.
Just contact Sis. Dawn Maloney preferably by text at 309-472-6067.
She does not need to know the story or “Why” you think they could use a financial boost. Your judgement or “take” on their situation is all we need.
Send name and mailing address please.
LOCAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
LifePoints has volunteer opportunities you can sign up for! Check out this link for their dates and sign-ups, and please forward this email to those you know who may be interested!!
